The International Stillbirth Alliance (ISA) is committed to preventing stillbirth and improving support for families affected by pregnancy and infant loss.
Tragically, over 1.8 million babies are stillborn in the Global South Each year. That equates to over 1.5 million families who have had to endure the absolute devastation of the death of their baby. Sadly, there are 120 countries that have no support organizations, while in the 6 countries with half of the global burden of stillbirths—nearly one million stillbirths each year–there are only 8 support organizations.

As most of the burden is in the Global South, we desperately need to increase our reach to those countries and further disseminate and support the adaptation of relevant resources.
Your donation today will help expand our capacity to improve our website, enhance communication activities and support outreach to parents in the Global South.
Every dollar raised will be used to:
- Maintain and expand the only global registry of stillbirth support organizations with the aim of extending this to newborn deaths
- Build a networking platform to facilitate collaboration and include multiple languages
- Provide online training opportunities to upskill communities to support their own communities following a stillbirth
- Continue to advocate for families globally in both the prevention and bereavement support space
