The Stillbirth Advocacy Working Group (SAWG) has developed a Stillbirth and Newborn Death Spokesperson Registry containing about 190 names from over 30 countries with different experiences around stillbirth and newborn death. The individuals include mothers, fathers, family members, researchers, and health care providers such as midwifes and obstetricians. The spokespersons have volunteered to increase awareness around stillbirth and newborn death.

The registry aims to facilitate connections for those who would like to get in touch with a spokesperson.

If you would like to get in touch with a spokesperson, please send an email to spokesperson@stillbirthalliance.org. Let us know what is the purpose and if there is any special request, for example a person living in a specific country that you are searching for. We will look through the registry and let you know if there is a match.

We ask you to be aware that contacting someone who has experienced losing a baby could evoke difficult emotions, therefore we would like to support you with some guidelines for interactions with our spokespersons that we will send you when you make a request.
