Jennifer Yourkavitch
ISA Chair
Jennifer Yourkavitch is a perinatal epidemiologist who has led maternal and newborn health programs around the world, providing technical assistance for monitoring, evaluation, reporting, and research. As an IBCLC, she also provides clinical support for lactation. For more than 25 years, Jennifer has worked with donors, governments, NGOs, and academia to improve maternal and newborn health globally. Her aim is to move stillbirth support closer to the center of conversations about MNH programs and measurement. It is an area that too often “sits quietly in a corner” when in fact stillbirth is something that health programs and services failed to prevent and deserves recognition, attention, and funding as an important component of maternal health. Jennifer has decades of experience leading teams, managing workplans and budgets, measuring results, and writing reports and feels honored to contribute her skills to ISA’s noble mission.
